Hi Everyone :) This is my first blog post on my brand spanking new website so I’m incredibly excited!!!
So…Welcome to Studio 7 Pilates & thank you so much for taking the time out to check it all out!
What you can expect here on Studio 7 website? Pilates of course! But if Pilates isn’t your thing – that’s cool it doesn’t just stop there with me!!! I am a health nut, exercise junkie, fitness freak & am crazy on ANYTHING to do with health & fitness. So keep your eyes peeled for recipes, fitness & nutrition tips!! Studio 7 is more than just Pilates :)

Recently I was very honoured to be featured in the Saturday Townsville Bulletin. Each week they promote a different type of exercise & Pilates was up next! So when I got the call if Studio 7 Pilates wanted to be apart of the article – I was pretty stoked!! I will admit I didn’t sleep a wink the night before it came out! The article was about the importance of Pilates – how it can help you & compliment any fitness routine. I wanted to extend on why Pilates is so friggen awesome.
I have practiced Pilates since age 14 and never once been bored. Is it possible that one exercise system can keep inspiring and challenging you to be your very best self? Pilates is the ONLY option to keep a sustained pain free body but it enlivens my spirit & makes me feel so confident – I have a lot to thank Pilates for!!
Pilates is unmatched in the arena of total body toning and conditioning, and nothing, and I mean nothing, helps you create powerful abs the way Pilates can. Well especially Studio 7 Pilates Abs!!
But what is Pilates?
Pilates is a gentle but challenging form of physical conditioning that focuses & trains your core muscles (abdominals, hips, butts & lower back) to improve posture & alignment. By focusing on your core strength, you enhance the little muscles in the body so you’re better able to support the larger ligaments, tendons & joins. It changes your body and makes it longer, leaner and stronger.
Why is it so good for you??
Pilates encourages you to think about how you perform everyday movements. It heightens your body awareness, which in turn improves your overall agility, flexibility and strength. It helps you ensure your body is working at its optimal level all the time.

Not only is it so good for your body & soul, it gives you a killer figure too!!
